Hot Dipped Galvanized Platform steel grating consist of a series of bearing bars cross jointed by welding at various intervals with cross bars (twisted square bars, square bars, round bars, flat bars etc.), to form a kind of steel products with square lattices among them.

Steel grating plate, also known as steel grating, grille plate, is flat steel in accordance with a certain
spacing and cross bar arrangement, and welded into a middle with a square grid of a steel products, mainly used to do ditch cover Plate, steel platform plate, steel ladder of the step board. The bar is generally made of twisted square steel.

Twisted steel bars are the steel bars which comes with the right combination of Strength & Flexibility. This elongation helps to protect any construction structure.The mechanical interlock between steel and concrete is critical in reinforced concrete. Early concrete reinforcing was sometimes smooth and square. This shape did not create much friction to make a solid interlock. One solution to this problem was to twist the bar like a corkscrew with creates many teeth for a strong mechanical lock. The primary drawback to doing this is that the twisting causes the steel to work harden and become more brittle.

6. Cross bar sizes(The connecting bars which extend across the bearing bars, usually perpendicular to them. They may be bent into a corrugated or sinuous pattern and, where they intersect the bearing bars, are welded, forged or mechanically locked to them): 5x5mm, 6x6mm, 8x8mm, etc.

7. Cross bar spacing(The distance center-to-center of the cross bars): 50mm, 100mm.

8. Length of steel grating plate: common length ≥800mm, some platform cover plate length is 3000-10000mm.

10. Surface process of gratings: there are three types:hot-dipped galvanized ,electro-galvanized and spraying brushing and soaking.anti-acid and alkali corrosion capacity the range PH6 to PH12.5,a stable protective film will be formed on the zinc surface.it has good anti-corrosive property.

11. Packing conditions of steel grating:normally packed in pilling up ways with two pieces of square wood on both upperand bottom sides.there are four or six pieces of M10 long bolt penetrading the gratings and screwing together.it is suitable for loading and unloading by fork-lift and crane.
